Scripture: Ephesians 5:21-33

The Bible teaches us the best way to have and keep a good marriage. This sort of marriage is based on the kind of love that puts the other person first. It means to value that person highly. This is the kind of love that God has for us. It made Him willing to sacrifice His Son for our sins. This kind of love does not try to satisfy our own desires but those of the other person. It builds good relationships with each other.

Questions:
1. Why should we submit to one another?
Out of reverence for Christ.
2. What kind of love is the foundation for a good marriage? 
It is unselfish and puts the other person first.
3. How do we know God has this kind of love for us?  
We know because He sacrificed His Son for us.
