Weeding the Farm

Scripture: Galatians 6:7-10

When a farmer has planted his crop, he must wait patiently for the harvest. He can't make the plants grow, only God can do that. All he can do is keep the weeds from growing up to choke the plants. We cannot make ourselves better Christians, that is God's work in us. But we can keep the weeds of sin from growing in our lives. We can read His word and pray which will help us to grow just as the sun and rain God sends makes the plants develop.

Questions:
1. What crop is reaped by someone who sows to please the sinful nature?
Destruction.
2. How different is the crop reaped by someone who sows to please the Holy Spirit?
From the Spirit that person will reap eternal life.
3.What responsibility do believers have towards others?
To keep on doing good to other people, especially other believers.

Memory verse: Jude 21
Live in such a way that God's love can bless you as you wait for the eternal life that our Lord Jesus Christ in his mercy is going to give you. (NLT)
