Termite

Scripture Passage: John 10:7-10

As a termite would try to get into the wood of your house to destroy it, so Satan tries to sneak secretly into our lives to destroy us. One of Satan's names in the Bible is "the Destroyer". (Revelation 9:11) Jesus wants us to take shelter under His protection. By avoiding and rejecting temptation and by drawing close to Jesus through His word and prayer, we can escape from being destroyed by Satan.

1. What do termites do to your house?
They destroy the woodwork.
2. How is Satan like a termite?
He tries to get in secretly and destroy us.
3. How can we avoid Satan's destruction?
By taking refuge in Jesus, by Bible reading and prayer.
