Telling Stories

Scripture Passage: Mark 4:33

Jesus was the best teacher this world has ever seen. He taught by using parables. A parable is a story that teaches a lesson. First of all, a story catches our attention because we all like to hear stories. Then it helps us to understand the lesson being taught. Lastly it helps us to remember that lesson. A good teacher will illustrate what he wants to teach.  We can teach our children our history and culture by telling them stories about their ancestors. 

Questions:
1. Who was the best of all teachers?
Jesus was the greatest teacher.
2. How did He teach?
He taught people using parables.
3. Why did He use parables?
Because they were stories that taught a lesson.
