Snake

Scripture Passage: Acts 28:1-6

When Paul had a snake fasten its fangs on his hand, the people of Malta thought he would surely die. But when no harm came to him, they said he must be a god. They did not realize that Paul loved the Lord and so God was taking care of him. Paul had a healing ministry on the island of Malta and the people were very grateful.

Questions:
1. What happened to Paul when he was building the fire?
A viper fastened itself on His hand.
2. Seeing that Paul was bitten by the snake, what did the islanders conclude?
When the islanders saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said to each other "This man must be a murderer; for though he escaped from the sea, justice has not allowed him to live".
3. How did God protect Paul?
The snake's bite did not make him ill at all.

Memory verse: 1 John 5:18
We know that those who have become part of God's family do not make a practice of sinning, for God's Son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot get his hands on them. (NLT)
