Sharing

Scripture Passage: 1 Timothy 6:17-19

It is important that we share what we have with those in need.  James 2:14-17 says that if our actions don't follow from our faith, then our faith is useless. Sharing material things, such as food and clothing, is good, but the greatest thing we can share is the good news of Jesus. The things of this earth last only a short time, but salvation through Jesus Christ lasts forever.

Questions:
1. Why should Christians do things like sharing what we have?
It is storing up treasure in Heaven.
2. What is the greatest thing we can share?
It is the gospel.
3. Why is sharing the gospel more important?
It's results last forever.
