Rock

Scripture Passage: Matthew 7:24-27

Jesus tells us that there is only one safe foundation for building our lives. That foundation is Himself and His teaching. Romans 9:33 tells us that Jesus is a rock that God has laid down. If we do not believe in Him, that rock will cause us to fall. Those people who believe in Him will never be disappointed. They will be able to stand firm, no matter what storms come into their lives. 

Questions:
1. What is a safe foundation for life?
It is the Lord Jesus. 
2. What happens to those who do not build on Christ?
They are ruined by life's storms.
3. When we are in trouble (life's storms) what should we do?
We should depend on Jesus. We will not be disappointed.
