Perfume

Scripture Passage: Mark 14:3-9

This young woman had a box that had been carved out of stone.  In the box she had stored beautiful perfume that she was to use on her wedding day. She opened the box and poured out her precious treasure over Jesus. What an expression of love!  Although others criticised her, Jesus commended her. What she had done would be told wherever the gospel is preached. How do we express our love for the Saviour?

Questions:
1. What did the woman have in her box?
She had perfumed oil.
2. What was she saving it for?
It was for her wedding day.
3. What did she do with her perfume?
She poured it over Jesus.

Memory verse: Matthew 22:37
Jesus replied: `You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.' (NLT)
