Parrot

Scripture Passage: 1 Timothy 1:15

The African grey parrot is one of the best talkers among birds. They speak exactly what they hear. Children are like parrots because they repeat what they hear their parents saying. We need to be careful what we say in front of our children. What are we saying? This scripture tells us what we should say. Many people still do not know that Jesus Christ came into the world to save us from God's judgement against sin. Let us talk to them about the gospel.

Questions:
1. What are the sounds that parrots make?
They say exactly what they hear.
2. How are children like parrots?
They repeat what they hear adults say.
3. What should we be talking about with our children and neighbours?
We should talk about the good news of Jesus.

Memory verse: Colossians 4:6
Let your conversation be gracious and effective so that you will have the right answer for everyone. (NLT)
