Nose

Scripture Passage: 1 Corinthians 12:17-19

Paul compares the people in the church to the parts of the body.  If all the body was a nose, wouldn't we look peculiar? How could we walk or see? Our body has many different parts and each one has its own purpose. Just so, we are many different members in the church but we each have our job to do. Some are good singers, some are drummers and some have a ministry of prayer. The church needs each person to do what he can. What each one does is important in God's sight.

Questions:
1. What does Paul say the people in the church are?
They are parts of the body of Christ.

2. Why do the church people have different abilities?
They can do all the different things for the church to function.
3. What can you do best?
There are different answers for each person.

Memory verse: 1 Corinthians. 12:27
Now all of you together are Christ's body, and each one of you is a separate and necessary part of it. (NLT)
