Monkey

Scripture Passage: 3 John 1:11

We say "Monkey see, monkey do". Monkeys are great copiers of whatever they see others doing. They like to imitate people. John says we should be imitators of godly people who do good things. We should not copy the bad things we see others doing. A disciple tries to imitate his teacher. Do we try to copy Jesus?

Questions:
1. Why do we say "Monkey see, monkey do"?
Because monkeys do what they see people doing.
2. What people should we try to imitate?
We should imitate godly people.
3. Who is the Teacher we should try to copy?
Our Teacher is Jesus.

Memory verse: Ephesians. 5:1
Follow God's example in everything you do, because you are his dear children. (NLT)
