Scripture Passage: 1 Peter 5:8-9

2 Thessalonians 3:3 tells us that the Lord is faithful and He will strengthen and protect us from the evil one. First, we have to place ourselves under God's protection. This protection was provided by Jesus by His death on the cross. His blood is our covering. In Revelation 12:11, John tells us that we overcome Satan by the blood of Jesus and the words of our testimony.  When we speak out our faith in Jesus, we receive His covering.

Questions:
1. What is the Lord faithful to do?
He will strengthen us and protect us from Satan.
2. What is our protection?
The blood of Jesus is our protection.
3. How do we overcome Satan?
We are overcomers by confessing our faith in Jesus as
our Saviour.
