Scripture Passage: Galatians 6:8-10

When a farmer has planted his crop, he must wait patiently for the harvest. He can't make the plants grow, only God can do that. All he can do is keep the weeds from growing up to choke the plants. We cannot make ourselves better Christians, that is God's work in us. But we can keep the weeds of sin from growing in our lives. We can read His word and pray which will help us to grow, just as the fertiliser the farmer adds to make his crop grow better.

Questions:
1. Why can't the farmer reap his crop soon after planting?
He must wait while God makes the plants grow.
2. How is sin in our lives like weeds?
It chokes the work of God in us.
3. What is like the fertiliser the farmer uses?
Reading God's word and praying, which helps us grow in our Christian lives.

Memory verse: Jude 1:21
Live in such a way that God's love can bless you as you wait for the eternal life that our Lord Jesus Christ in his mercy is going to give you. (NLT)
