Lantern

Scripture Passage: Matthew 5:14-16

We do not light a lantern and put it in a box or under the bed. We put it up so it will give light all around it. Jesus said we are to be like lanterns to the people around us who are still in spiritual darkness. Jesus is the light of the world and those who do not know Him need us to show Jesus to them. Then we will come to know Him as their Saviour and be in His light too.

Questions:
1. Why do we put a lighted lamp up on a stand?
We want it to give light to the house.
2. Who is the light of the world?
Jesus is.
3. How can we let our light shine?
We can tell others about Jesus and lead them to Him.
