Jesus Makes the Deaf Man Speak and Hear Again

Scripture Passage: Mark 7:31-37

Some people brought a sick man to Jesus because they knew that Jesus could heal him. Jesus took the sick man off alone. He touched the man's ears and tongue. He looked up to his Father in Heaven and commanded the ears and mouth to open. At once the man could hear and speak and everybody was amazed. These verses show how we can help our friends to bring their problems and illnesses to Jesus in prayer and ask Him to help and heal them. We can also pray and ask Jesus to help our friends too.

Questions:
1. What did Jesus do to heal the man?
Jesus took the sick man off alone.  He touched the man's ears and tongue. He looked up to his Father in Heaven and commanded the ears and mouth to open.
2. How completely was the man healed?
The man could immediately hear and began to speak plainly.
3. How can we help our friends?
We can help them to bring their illnesses and problems to Jesus in prayer. We can also pray for them.
