Hippopotamus

Scripture Passage: John 10:10

A hippopotamus can do a great amount of damage if it gets into a farm. It not only eats the plants, but it tramples and destroys them. Jesus says that Satan is like that. He comes to steal, kill and destroy. We cannot get him out of our lives, just as we cannot drive a hippopotamus out of our farm. Only Jesus has the power to overcome Satan. We must turn to Jesus for the help we need. Jesus will give us abundant life.

Questions:
1. What does a hippopotamus do on a farm?
Eats, tramples and destroys the plants.
2. What does Satan try to do to us?
Steal, kill and destroy.
3. How can we get Satan out of our lives?
Only by turning to Jesus for the help to defeat Satan.
