Helping Those in Need

Scripture Passage: Matthew 25:35-40

In these verses Jesus tells us that God will judge us as to how we react to these people who are in need. Our help can be in simple ways like giving a hungry person a meal, or a drink of water to someone who is thirsty, welcoming a stranger, caring for the sick, visiting those in prison. Jesus tells us that when we give such help, we are giving it to Him. So let us be generous in helping our brothers and sisters who are in need.

Questions:
1. Who will judge us on how we act to those in need?
God will judge us.
2. Give examples of some ways we can help others?
e.g. giving food to a hungry person.
3. When we help someone, who are we really helping?
Jesus Himself.
