Scripture Passage: Luke 24:36-43

After Jesus had risen from the dead, He appeared to His disciples. They were hiding in an inner room for fear. When Jesus suddenly appeared with them, they thought He must be a ghost. He proved to them that He was really alive again by eating a piece of cooked fish. In verse 51, we read that Jesus left them and went up to Heaven. He is now there interceding with His Father for us.

1. What greeting did Jesus give His disciples?
Peace be with you.
2. How did Jesus calm their fears?
He showed them His hands and His side, invited them to
touch Him.

3. What did Jesus do to prove to them that He was really alive again?
He ate a piece of broiled fish.

Memory verse: 1 John 2:1
But if you do sin, there is someone to plead for you before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who pleases God completely. (NLT)
