Farmer Sowing

Scripture Passage: Mark 4:3-12

People listen to God's word in different ways. The hard paths where some of the seeds fell are like those with hard hearts.  Satan comes at once to try to make them forget God's word. The rocky soil is like those who at first accept the message, but when hard times come they forget it. The thorny soil is like those who receive the message, but money and success make them forget God's word. But the good soil is like those who truly accept God's message and continue to follow His ways.

1. Where are some of the places the seed fell?
Along the path, rocky places, among thorns and on good soil.
2. What happened to the seeds that fell on the good soil?
It came up and produced a good crop
3. Which people have been given the secret of the kingdom of God?
Disciples of God

Memory verse: Mark 4:20
But the good soil represents those who hear and accept God's message and produce a huge harvest—thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted. (NLT)
