Boat

Scripture: Luke 5:1-3

Jesus was trying to teach the people about the kingdom of God.  They crowded around Him. They were pushing and shoving in order to get close to Him. He asked Peter if He could use Peter's boat so they would not press against Him. Peter was quite willing for Him to use it. Are we willing to let our things be used when He needs them for reaching people with the gospel? Sometimes we need to let our homes be used for Bible studies or literacy classes.

Questions:
1. What were the people doing?
Crowding around Jesus and listening to Him teaching the word of God.
2. Why did Jesus use Peter's boat?
So that all the people could hear Him.
3. How can we use our property to spread the Gospel?
We can be generous and lend our property if it could be used to spread the Gospel.

Memory verse: Matthew 10:42
And if you give even a cup of cold water to one of the least of my followers, you will surely be rewarded. (NLT)
