Baby

Scripture Passage: 1 Kings 3:23-28

There were two women living in the same house and they each had a baby just three days apart. One baby died. The mother took the dead baby and exchanged it for the live one while the other mother was asleep. The king was asked to decide which woman was really the mother of the dead child. Because God gave King Solomon such wisdom, he soon found out who was right. God will give us wisdom too, if we ask Him for it.

Questions:
1. What did the mother of the dead baby do?
She exchanged its body for the live baby.
2. How did the king decide which woman was the mother of the live child?
He made them show who really loved the baby.
3. How can we become wise?
We can ask God for wisdom and He will give us what we need for our situation.

Memory verse: James 1:5
If you need wisdom—if you want to know what God wants you to do—ask him, and he will gladly tell you. He will not resent your asking. (NLT)
