Admiration

Scripture Passage: Philippians 4:8-9

We are urged to get a good name and keep it. We should be truthful at all times and honest in our behaviour.  We should not be ashamed to learn about good things.  We should live in such a way that people will admire not our money, new clothes or our houses but rather our character.  Let us have a good name for the glory of God.

Questions:
1.What kind of things should we want to be aiming for?
Things that are true, just, pure and lovely.

2. Why should we think about these things?
Because these are things worthy of praise.

3. How can we keep ourselves pure?
By reading God's word every day and walking close to God.

Memory verse: Philippians 4:8

Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. (NLT)

By 2025, together with partners worldwide, we aim to see a Bible translation programme begun in all the languages that need one.
